I’m a PhD student in Social Psychology at Yale University, where I work primarily under the tutelage of Dr. Jack Dovidio. I’m broadly interested in social and political psychology, but have particular interest in stereotyping and prejudice (reduction), power dynamics, and psychological models of collective action and social/system change.
I hold an M.Sc. in Psychological Research from the University of Oxford, where I worked closely with Dr. Miles Hewstone. I also hold a B.Sc. in Psychology (summa cum laude) from the University of Groningen, where I first discovered my love for research while working with Dr. Martijn van Zomeren.
I generally enjoy crunching numbers, for example during my job as a data analyst at Agenda Consulting in Oxford. I’m also a passionate hip-hop dancer, love hitchhiking across Sub-Saharan Africa and the Middle East, and enjoy trying out new vegetarian recipes on my friends.
